After an initial dental consultation, the specialists employed at the Center for Modern Dentistry in Łódź will make the appropriate overlays, tailored to the individual needs of the patient, and prepare the whitening gel. They will also instruct how to use the accessories to achieve the desired effect, our patients can continue the whitening process unhindered at home with the help of special overlays. Overlay teeth whitening is an effective and non-invasive way to regain confidence in your own smile. However, you should be aware that the longevity of teeth whitening results depends on several factors, including diet.
Overlay Teeth Whitening can only be performed on healthy teeth. It is for this reason that a dental consultation is necessary, during which the condition of the teeth will be assessed. Depending on its results, the patient may be qualified for overlay whitening or referred for treatment. The final effect of overlay teeth whitening, is to lighten their color by up to 6 tones, and the effect can last from 3 to 6 years. Much here depends on individual predisposition.
BEYOND whitening, on the other hand, is a method that involves brightening teeth with a special BEYOND lamp. This system allows us to achieve the desired and immediate results within 30-60 minutes – during one visit. Teeth whitening with the BEYOND lamp requires the application of an appropriate gel. It consists mainly of hydrogen peroxide and auxiliary substances, enhancing the final effect and reducing tooth sensitivity. Specialists at the Center for Modern Dentistry will select the appropriate parameters of the BEYOND lamp to achieve the best possible results. As with overlay whitening, the durability of BEYOND whitening depends on several factors, including diet and oral hygiene. After the whitening process, a “white diet” should be followed, which will help maintain the effect for a much longer period of time. Teeth can be lightened from 5 to even 14 tones, depending on their current condition.
