Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy, Lieutenant Colonel of the Polish Army. In 2000-2011, initially Head of the Department of Rehabilitation, and then, after the merger of the two medical schools in Łódź, Head of the Clinical Department of Post-Traumatic Rehabilitation of the Military Medical Academy Clinical Hospital in Łódź. Currently Head of the Department of Biomechanics and Prosthetic and Orthopedic Supply at the Medical University of Łódź. Since 29.09.2017 he has been a consultant in the Department of Neurology with Stroke Treatment Subdivision and the Day Rehabilitation Center of the Rehabilitation Department of the N. Barlicki University Clinical Hospital No. 1 of the Medical University of Łódź at 22 Kopcińskiego Street.
